Family Sponsorship
Most of the time, people come to Canada alone. And here at Regina Max, we understand that while you may be grateful for new opportunities, you also long for the comfort, love, and support of your family. Being separated from the people who matter most can be one of the hardest parts of the immigration journey.
Canada recognizes the importance of family. In fact, family reunification is one of the core values of Canadian immigration. This is why the government has created different immigration pathways that allow Canadian citizens and permanent residents to bring their loved ones home.
Family sponsorship is a process that allows eligible individuals living in Canada to sponsor their close family members—such as a spouse, partner, children, parents, or grandparents—for permanent residence. Through this program, families can be reunited and begin building a future together in Canada.
This is where our service comes in.
At Regina Max, we guide you through every step of the family sponsorship process with clarity, care, and professionalism. From confirming your eligibility to preparing, reviewing, and submitting a strong application package, we handle the details — so you can focus on what truly matters: being with your family again.
Our approach is simple, discreet, and tailored to you. Because reuniting with your family is more than paperwork — it’s personal.
Who Is Considered “Family” for Immigration Purposes?
Under Canadian immigration law, you may be eligible to sponsor the following family members:
- Spouse
- Common-law partner
- Conjugal partner (in limited circumstances)
- Dependent child
- Parents and grandparents
- Orphaned sibling, niece, nephew, or grandchild (in very specific situations)
- In rare cases, one extended relative (under the “Lonely Canadian” provision)
To qualify as a sponsor, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, 18 years or older, and meet financial and legal requirements.
